Title Sequence Compositing – Test 1
Here is my initial idea for the title sequence for the project. It was good practice to move through the entire workflow from start to finish. There are many things I’m not happy with, but it’s good to see it in the completed form. I can now go back and rework parts of it to get a better result.
The video is rendered in 1280×540, so you should view it in HD mode if possible.
Sweaty Beards!
haha, ran across this trailer for a live action comedy about vikings while I was looking for reference material for my project. Too funny, had to share….
Interesting animation with similar genre – Jotun
Here’s a great animation made a few years ago called Jotun. Thanks to Anton for reminding me about it, I had seen it quite a while ago, but it was good to revisit it. The website is also good to see a little into their pre-production process.
The film’s web site is at http://www.jotun-lefilm.com/ and the film was created by Vladimir Eskandari, Jean-Denis, Coindre, Vincent Schneider, and Francois Mauge in 2007. The music is apparently by the band Gjallarhorn. Enjoy!
Compositing work on Title
I’ve been working on the logo for the title sequence in the film. I’m not totally decided on how the animation will work, but I’m exploring colours and textures right now. This is the current status of the title treatment.
